On 4 and 5 May 2023, a delegation from Landsréttur (Icelandic Court of Appeal), led by Hervör Þorvaldsdóttir, President of Landsréttur, visited the EFTA Court along with her colleagues and members of staff. The group was received by President Páll Hreinsson and Ólafur Jóhannes Einarsson, Registrar of the EFTA Court. During the visit, several presentations were given by the Registrar as well as the legal secretaries of the President’s cabinet, Ólafur Ísberg Hannesson and Kristján Jónsson. The presentations focused on particular issues of EEA law, and were followed by discussions on topics of shared interest. The delegation from Landsréttur was also received by Lars Bay Larsen, Vice-President of the Court of Justice, at the Court of Justice of the European Union.
