The EFTA Court has made a Decision on participation in oral hearings via video conference equipment. Following the experience of remote oral hearings during the Covid pandemic from early 2020, the Court decided to allow for a voluntary participation in oral hearings via video conference equipment in certain cases and under certain circumstances. The Decision is valid for two years and will be reviewed in 2024. It enters into force on 1 August 2022 and applies to all cases pending before the Court on that day. See the full Decision.
